Devexperts has connected brokers using DXtrade to KuCoin's spot and perpetual futures liquidity, through KuCoin's Market Maker Support System. The connection adds a crypto venue to the trading platform's available market access.

The crypto interface has launched

The KuCoin feed follows a change in DXtrade's crypto offering. Devexperts showed a dedicated crypto interface in demo in June, then launched it last week. Its exchange-style book lets traders set order size in coin units, quote-currency value or as a portion of available funds.

DXtrade's previous crypto liquidity arrangement, with Sage Capital Management in June 2024, also covered spot and perpetual futures. KuCoin says more than 45 million users access its exchange across over 200 countries.

Its market-maker programme combines technical and funding support with incentives: fee terms and rewards apply to OTC and fiat markets, USDC pairs, and newly listed futures pairs. KuCoin also cites OTC loans without interest, cross-currency margin from one account, and matching latency that can be as low as three milliseconds.

More services join the platform

KuCoin joins a series of third-party additions to DXtrade this year. Before Devexperts added DDXpro in May, the platform had already incorporated liquidity from Advanced Markets and tools from TRAction, Gold-i and theScreener. Borislav Alendarov, head of trading operations at Devexperts, described integrations as central to the firm's approach.

As Finance Magnates reported, cTrader from Spotware and Match-Trader from Match-Trade Technologies also provide brokers with white-label platforms that include crypto trading. Interest in the vendors fell over the summer. FM Intelligence's platform comparison records a 23.5% fall in organic visits to DXtrade's website in the third quarter from the second, against a 22.7% quarter-on-quarter decline for cTrader.

Devexperts also said it would seek Financial Services Authority (OJK) approval after Indonesia's commodity futures regulator cleared DXtrade in August. OJK oversees the country's crypto market.

The integration question

For operations teams, the announcement identifies a new source of prices and liquidity, but does not spell out the full order path. Does the connection support execution as well as pricing, and which instruments, account permissions and routing settings need to be configured? Those details matter for testing spot and perpetual futures separately.

Teams should also establish how instrument data, order sizes and fills are represented across DXtrade and KuCoin, and where reconciliation and client reporting responsibilities sit. KuCoin's claims about latency and market-maker terms are not a substitute for confirming the service levels, fee treatment and operational support available to each broker.
